People and emotions…. I am inspired to stop time through my photography to capture life’s moments of spontaneity, connection and joy. I cannot help myself and must photograph when I see the simple look of a baby’s sweet face and little feet, the energy and laughter between friends as they play and explore, the hopeful energy of a high school senior, and the timeless beauty of two individuals joining in marriage. With this inspiration I will document  your day at the beach, hike with family, birthday celebration, youth baseball game, graduation, wedding, new baby or any special moments in between. Whichever you choose, I cannot wait to work together with you to tell your story! 

 

It was during a Photojournalism class at UNH when my passion for photography became my chosen career path. The daily variety of subjects and assignments drew my interest and holds it still. I have developed skills as a professional and gained a deep sensitivity for my subjects over the past 25 years through my work on the New Hampshire and Maine seacoasts where I have held staff photographer positions at The Portland Press Herald/Maine Sunday Telegram, Seacoast Media Group and the Brunswick Times Record. Today I enjoy  freelance opportunities for The Maine Community Foundation and the Maine Monitor.

 

My two daughters and I live in South Berwick, Maine. We love to laugh, go to the beach, listen to music and spend time with friends. Every day they teach me that life is precious and is not to be missed…
